This course can also serve to prepare attendees for the ABIM Board Examinations (Certification/Recertification), and offers daily board review question & answer practice sessions in each specialty area of nephrology. The program will also consist of daily case-based lectures & meet the professor luncheons covering the most important topics in renal medicine. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on the practical application of physiological principles to the understanding and management of clinical problems particularly for board exam preparation.
In addition, a self-study enduring material, available on DVD, CD, MP3 and MP4, containing all general session lectures recorded from this live activity (with the exception of lunch sessions) will be included and offered as an additional ‘desk-top’ teaching tool to help prepare for the board exams. This enduring material will be offered to attendees on site, as well as for purchase by non-attendees who wish to view or listen to the courses, take the post-test, and receive credit. For non-attendees it will offer a chance for them to view or listen to live lectures in preparation for the renal board review, and for onsite attendees, it is a chance to reinforce their education.
